  1. Not if they park on your property. The permit scheme relates to parking on the highway.

  2. I see the grabbing councils are at it again, fight it you pay enough in tax.

  3. Nobody has to pay anything to park off the road and on your drive way - this is (your) private land. If they park on the road, then they will have to pay, or may not even be allowed unless your permit is used for them.

Incidentally, if you have a dropped kerb, I advise that you contact the council and ask to have a 'H' bar painted accross your driveway. It will cost you £200, but it means that you have more legal rights if anyone parks accross your driveway and blocks you in.

Normally for a parking scheme, you still have to pay to use the residents space, so defend your driveway - it'll save you a fortune!.

  4. prob you will be able to purchase a pass may be i would say that visitors parking on the road will need to pay or maybe you could get spare pass for them silly rules we ave to live by these days

  5. Another way to get money just to pay someones salary.......

  6. We have a CPZ and we purchase a book of, tickets (not expensive) from the council ( Islington) and give them to visitors who visit during the restricted hours; remember its not 24 hours; but every scheme is different:  we are really happy with our scheme; hope you are too with yours
