Residental communal flat rules?

i live in a communal block of flats and we have communal gardens what would be the rule on having a BBQ on the land... baring in mind my landlord pays £1000 a year for communal fees.

  1. This has no bearing on what your landlord pays in communal service charges.  Every owner pays them, but normally you wouldn't be able to entertain in the communal areas, unless it was an arrangement between every resident.  So, if for instance, you want to have a family bbq, then that wouldn't be allowed.  If, however, all the residents get together and arrange a get together, you could probably get away with that.  The garden areas are not for you personally.


  2. The rules of the block will be set by the managing agents. The agent/landlord can give you their contact details
