Residential parking laws!?!?

hello everyone-

i was just wondering if someone knows the Residential parking laws for airdrie (calgary)... someone parked their van in front of my house and has not moved it in 4 days. i thought there was a law that they have to move it every 25 or 48hrs?? is that true??

is there anyway i can get this van towed?

  1. If it has been there for a few days and you dont know where it came from. inform your local law enforcement(non-emergency) with the license plate number. In case it is a reported stolen vehicle. They will also be able to answer any other questions you might have about your local rules in the event that you do know who it is. Keep in mind, a public street is PUBLIC, and they can park there unless there is a driveway, fire hydrant, no-parking zone, etc.
