Hello Everyone.

I am looking for some practical advise and I don't know a better place than this.

I am responsible to arrange a Lunch in my University for about 100 students.

Could you please let me know what kind of menu would be ideal.

We may have two main dishes and few side dishes with soda.

  1. If you are talking about having it catered.  Try Italian, lasagna and Menotti, with a veggie, and a salad, and a tiramisu for dessert, and tea and soda, is easy.  Many places cater call one that you like close to you.

Also very easy and one that I choose a lot is the Texas Bar B Q (I use Pappas---it's easy and they deliver)   Sliced brisket and chicken, potato salad, coleslaw or beans, bread, pickles, onions, jalapenos, and tea and soda.  They have a good cheesecake for dessert.

If you want to go healthy go with catering from Cafe Express.

Choose broiled chicken b*****s, a veggie dish, Cobb Salad,

and maybe artichokes with sun dried tomatoes.  Fresh fruit cups for dessert.

Chinese - Yao's on Gessner and Westheimer has some great food and they cater.

You know what your people like.

Also, Mexican is always popular, beef and chicken fajitas with all the fixings, tortillas, rice, beans, and some flautas, maybe a tres leches cake for dessert.

If you let us know what you decide, we can then suggest some restaurants if you are not sure.

Also, if price is not an issue, you can have a Thai buffet, a curry, summer egg rolls ---the ones in rice paper, and any other popular Thai dish such as Pad Thai.  Just add a rice dish and you're good to go.  Serve fresh fruit slices for dessert.

    Good luck to you.

  2. Italian Is Always Good.
