Resize picture?

hi,

im copying a picture for a deck design in a website.

when i open it into a program it is too small and when i zoom in or try to change the size manually it becomes very blurry

how can i change the size of it (bigger) and it still look nice

you can't do that ....because the original picture does not have that many pixels .....think about it this way get a piece of rubber like a balloon .....with out stretching it draw something on it ...when you stretch it the color becomes faded .....but if you draw something when the balloon is stretch and then un stretch it the image looks more full......same thing with a picture .....if the original pic does not have enough pixels when you make it bigger (stretch it ) the pixels will be missing causing a blurry pic .....but when you make it smaller the pixels can come together and make a sharper pic ..if there is too many pixels because you made picture too Small...the extra pixels can be deleted out automatically when you save the new pic......
