Resizing an image without losing the quality?

Hi.

I have an image about the size of a msn display pic so its small. Is there a way i can make it bigger with out losing the quality. I have firewors 8 is there a way to do it. if you carnt do it on fireworks what do i need and how do i do it.

No.

This is why cameras should always be configured to take the highest quality shot possible. You can always REDUCE the size and resolution of the photo but the opposite isn't true... you can't make things larger without losing quality.

The only way to produce large quality prints from high resolution files.  Those are the result of shooting using the cameras highest resolution  it will support.
