Resolving motion shadow on Sony 46" KDL-46W3000 HDTV?

Question

Other then buying another tv, could I do something to resolve, the little shadows left behind when there is lots of action and motion?

Also, I know the importance of response times, but does 8 ms response time to 4 ms make a difference? I'm sure it does, because this SOny tv has 8 MS.

Does this happen with another source? (dvd?).  If it does then the set is the issue.  4ms is better than 8ms all though 8ms is usually good enough----but.

You're the second person I've seen here asking about this with Sony's---I haven't seen it in the field yet---does not mean I will start getting the calls though.
