  1. We had a great time at the Riu Cancun.   It was all-inclusive and really nice.

There were several pools - a few were infinity, one was used a lot as an activity pool, and one had a swim-up bar.  There were whirlpool areas in the bar pool, and there were places in the infinity pools where the lounge chairs could sit in the pool.  That was the way to go!

The drinks were great, and the service in all the bars and restaurants was fantastic.  Your in-room fridge and liquor dispenser are included in the price, and they refill it all frequently for you.

The food was awesome - big breakfast buffet, choice of 2 lunch buffets, and 4 dinner options (Japanese, Mediterranean, outdoor patio steakhouse, and a buffet with a different theme each night).  We never tired of the food, and we ate really well.

The rooms were nice enough.  The beds were a bit hard, but they would give you a mattress pad if you asked.  All the rooms have an ocean view, so that's nice.

  2. We went there for spring break...Hilton!! Wonderful, we went parasailing, sight seeing, sky diving, club hopping, golfing (not me stayed at the fab pool)

  3. The Rui,& Moon Palace,are great.Dreams too.

  4. Cancun is spectacular but a little crowded.  Just to the south of Cancun is a smaller resort destination called Playa del Carmen.  You can see some resorts there at:

    http://www.playa-del-carmen.us

  5. Aburo Star, it is VERY cool.

(I am not sure if I spelled it right)

  6. Grand Oasis Playa.  Just got back last week.  All inclusive, Just need some one's for small tips.  It was a great time,  and well worth it!

  7. Yes - the Moon Palace Golf & Spa resort is very nice with excellent food and pools.  The beach isn't the greatest for swimming though because it is sea-weedy.  Beautiful resort though.  Also, Xpu-Ha Palace (run by the same company) is gorgeous and has a lot of wildlife and activities on the resort.  I don't think you could go wrong with any Palace resort or Iberostar resort.  All-inclusive is a great choice - that is definitely the way to go.  Have fun!

  8. I like  worryfreevacations.com   You can see good info on the different hotels.  Or try  cancun.com  A good travel agent would also be able to help you pick.  My personal favorite is Grand Sirenis in the Riviera Maya.  It is waaaaaayy south of all the party-goers, but good for families.  It is also very new, so still much more affordable than others.

  9. For the best advice call 1-888-862-3806. The Mexico Experts, they are in Cancun and can arrange everything.

  10. 2nd vote for moon palace.

  11. Well if you are looking for something nice but pretty cheap then i would cheak out Vacationstogo.com and look for Riu Caribe, this resort is all inclusive with everything you need, the sevice was great and the grounds were beautiful. The only bad thing about it was the beds were pretty hard. but you get used to it. If you end up going to Cancun, Mexico, i would go on a day trip to the Island of the Lady, you ride a 20 min ferryboat there and when you arrive you rent out a golf-kart for 15 dollars an hour and either go to the north side with tons of shoping or you go to the south side with a lot of historical sites, i loved this island and everyone was very polite.

  12. go to cheaptickets.com or orbitz.com, or any of those, and click on the 'vaction packages' tab on the top, and just select cancun , theres hundreds of them
