In Raleigh, go to the State Building downtown (North Carolina Department of Public Instruction).  There is a separate building just for children with disabilities and exceptions.  This building is located in the center of downtown Raleigh.  You can look this up on the Internet.  There is help out there.

look up your state Department of Public Instruction they may be listed under State Board of Education and they can get ya started.
