  1. I prefer Respect.

Fear is false and humours the insercure mind that desires it. Fear flatters the ego of the emotionally immature, Fear does not require that the feared one,  respects anyone. It does require fear of the one that feared one also fears others that he sees elevated from himself. In another sense the feared one also fears those whom he thinks should fear him.

    Examples:

"The opulent minority must protect itself from th angry majority."-USA 4th Constituional Convention.

Slavery in the Americas: There are reports of enslavers sleeping on alert with alarms, booby traps, and weapons to protect themselves against an uprising.

Systematic Fear is mentally dangerous for the one who fears and the one who is feared. The unhealthy practice can have many far reaching consequences for generations, one of which is over-compensation. Some of the others include schzoprenia, feelings of inadequacey, tranferance of the same treatment ot others, and pretention.

    Respect:

The character of Sherrif Andy Taylor sums it up for his deputy Barney Fife. He tells him that a man must respect the man before the badge, and the badge before the gun.

Respect is a matter of personal responsibility. Genuinely Respect self and Respect others. Respect can shatter fears both internal and external..

  2. Respected, because respect means that people will trust you both as a friend and maybe as a well-known person or maybe enemy.

Friend - a friend having respect for you means a better friendship. Which means if you make a mistake they probably won't start screaming at you like they had no respect. Sometimes this happens with people with alot of respect for you, but it sure is better with respect like that than fear, because then you wouldn't be friends.

Well Known Person - Same as Friend, just less important.

Enemy, for example, if you know another person is good/intellegent it would be pretty dumb to start insulting him if you know he's just as good as you but you don't like him. That's enemy respect. In my opniion its way more beter than enemy fear. Because fear means you fear one, as in will keep away and say nothing and do nothing. I do like fear when its some enemies, but respect is better.

  3. I Have lived with Fear, and would never wish to

    put anyone through that.

I Always give respect and in return that is what I get back.

  4. Respect.

Anyone who prefers Fear is missing the big picture

  5. the answer is obvious, scary things have no real power other than that smallness one creates in other people's minds. but when you show love and enthusiasm for whatever you do in life, whomever you meet, then the effects are like a ripple on every level of life. When people are free to make their own choices about you, everyone is the real macoy
