  1. It definitely sounds like a respiratory infection.  My daughter volunteers at a local reptile rescue center and we have seen this many times.  Unfortunately, the only thing that can be done is to take it to a vet.  She needs antibiotics, just like a person with an infection.  I'm sorry to say, but if you couldn't afford the vet..you shouldn't have gotten the animal!!  Maybe you can find a rescue center near you or call a vet that might be willing to take her for you.

  2. Besides the heat and vitamins there is not much you can do just at home. I don't want to offend you but she really needs to get to the vet. Yes you might be able to sleep off a cold, but they aren't built like that.  By the time that you notice something is wrong the lizard is usually pretty sick. They are like that.  From the way you say it in the add details she only has trouble breathing when out of the cage? But is ok in the cage or do I have it wrong? The signs might be there still but go unnoticed. What is the humidity like in her tank, what were her temps, what did you boost them up to?   I would say you may have something set up wrong or inadequately. Most trouble like this is usually husbandry related.  If she doesn't improve at all in a day, 2 the most get her to the vet.
