  1. Yes, everyone is responsible for that.

  2. I think all of us have that responsibility. Not only students. You not only have to clean up after your own mess, but be involved in some team or group activity that helps to clean and maintain public places clear and safe.

    It is not only because is good for you and your family (to go out and enjoy the community and public places without litter and dangerous things), but because you owe that to the planet and to the future generations.

  3. I'm not sure exactly what you are asking... do you mind clarifying it a little bit?

  4. Everyone has a responsibility to help maintain cleanliness in public places, if you don't care then the next person won't care either and first thing you know public places will be a garbage dump and you or anyone else won't go there anymore.  Being a student doesn;t give you any special right to abuse your enviroment, indeed, it should inspire you to make others aware of the problem.

  5. Obviously I am not everyone elses maid, but picking up after myself is manditory.  There is some merit in teaching your kids to care for public places and leave them better than they were found.

  6. Same answer as before;

    How about it being every citizens responsibility to contribute to making the community they live in a better place?

    This includes not littering, or helping in clean ups.

    This is taught at home as part of being a responsible person, and is not limited to students since adults have to set the proper examples

  7. I think it is the Boy Scouts that teach (paraphrased): "Leave the place better than you found it."

    Imagine if everyone - student and non-student - took that philosophy to heart.
