England’s top-order batsman, Ian Bell, has expressed that the long break after the last season broke his momentum as a batsman and led to his downfall in the Test series against Pakistan in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE).
The Poms became the number one ranked Test team of the world last year and Bell played a massive role in this accomplishment as he was at the top of his game in 2011.

Bell, who was averaging more than a 100 runs per innings last year as he scored 950 runs in just eight Tests, only managed to score 51 runs in the whole series against Pakistan and looked completely out of sorts.
The 30-year-old said that in order to stay in form, he needs to keep playing and rest does not work well for him.
The right-hander mentioned, "Going into the UAE series, we'd had two or three months off - and I felt I'd lost my rhythm completely. So batting-wise, for me if I'm batting the better I play. Personally, from a batting point of view, if I'm out in the middle
scoring runs, I want to stay scoring runs - definitely."
