Rest of Sri Lanka reign supreme by 76 runs against Sri Lanka Cricket Combined XI – Cricket news
In the final of the Sri Lanka Cricket Presidents Trophy, Rest of Sri Lanka led by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LD-Chandimal-c1831 beat rivals Sri Lanka Cricket Combined XI by 76 runs to take the cup at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
After winning the toss in the 50-over day and night match, Rest of Sri Lanka chose to bat first in a bid to post a mammoth score on the board.

After conceding 83 runs, this partnership was finally broken by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Isuru-Udana-c64628, who nabbed the crucial wicket of Chandimal. The skipper perished after scoring 31 runs off 39 deliveries.

Sri Lanka Cricket Combined XI then made a resounding comeback as the bowlers took wickets regularly, restricting the lower-order from establishing a tough resistance. Nonetheless, they failed to humble Kandamby, who stood unbeaten on 65 runs at the end of
the innings where his side managed to post 205 runs on the board.
From Sri Lanka Cricket Combined XI, Gunathilaka was the best bowler with four wickets to his name.
Sri Lanka Cricket Combined XI also had a disappointing start to their run chase as they lost their first wicket with only 18 runs on the board.
Rest of Sri Lanka’s bowling was just too good on this day which prevented the batting side from regrouping and consequently Sri Lanka Cricket Combined XI crumbled on 129 runs in 32.5 overs.
From Rest of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/HMRKB-Herath-c1559 were the ace bowlers with three wickets each.
