My friend went to a restaraunt in Portland that the tables would slowly rotate or move up and down while you sat at them, but it was slow enough that you wouldnt feel it happening. The outside of the building looks like an old house... anyone know what it is?

  1. it is a coffee place,,,, but i have been to many a place after i was drunk and the tables all seem to move

  2. It is called Rimsky-Korsakoffeehouse.  That is the correct spelling.  It is located at 707 SE 12th (12th and Alder) Portland, OR 97214 and is hard to spot because it is just a house with no sign.  It is a really neat place that has been around a long time, weird but neat.

    Phone number is 503-232-2640.

A website with some info on it is, http://rimskys.blogspot.com/

  3. It's called Rimsky Korsacoffeehouse ...707 SE 12th Ave

Portland, OR 97214 ... at 11th & Morrison... SE Portland ...it's very easy to miss when you're driving by. Haven't been there in a LONG time but back then it didn't have a sign - looked like someone's house!

  4. I've always wanted to go there! It's in a small, red, old-Portland style house, no sign or anything at SE 12th and Alder.
