Restaraunt reviewer.....?

is this a real career, or is it sometihing that one guy from one newspaper in a city does like once a week? any details about the job would help too. just outline exactly what they do

  1. i think restaurant reviewers work for newspapers, but there are mystery shoppers who go to different stores or restaurants and are asked to ask for certain items to see how well they do. you do get paid for it and reimbursed for the meal


  2. Yep it is a real job. Basically your boss tells you where to go and what to look for. Some times it can be quality of the food, some times quality of the service, or the over all quality of the resturant. After that it's a simple evaluation. Did they reach the standards set? Was it a good experience? After visiting the resturant then the person heads home, writes a report, files it and waits to get paid.

    The pay isn't normally great for those jobs, but it is something.
