If you walked into a fast food joint, and the employee's had cell phones out, while serving food. The employee's had verbal disputes with one another, would this draw you away from the restaurant?

  1. Yes! I would turn around and walk straight out. I don't care what resterant it is...that is so disrespectful!

  2. You get what you pay for.

  3. Yes, but I would also complain to the management about it.  I am sure this was not allowed.

  4. yes it would. A fast food restaurant should still have a professional work ethic and responsible employees. If they are that lazy with a couple of procedures, how are they with preparing food?

  5. Cell phones out is incredibly disrespectful for starters. If they were seriously mad at each other or just playing around, it could be different. If they were playing around, they could be having fun, which is a good sign because happy employees is good, but if they were seriously mad, then thats a bad thing. Inform a manager, because most fast food restaurants shouldn't tolerate it. It's all horrible customer service, and if the customer service is bad. I won't eat there. That's why I stick to places like chick fil a where they try to actually make customers feel welcome

  6. If they ever got the order wrong at the drive through, I would likely not want to go there ever again. If they were bad service, I would never want to go there again.

I think if I was ever uncomfortable going into a place, I would refrain from visiting again, unless I lived for the products there, then I would probably get into everyone's business.

  7. i would be offended. but not enough to not eat there. if i want class i dont go to fast food in the first place.

  8. Yes, that's there job not their social break time. I would probably order my food to go and never go back to that cetain fast food place. I would also wonder where the h**l the manager is that he or she isn't taking care of that problem.

  9. I think so because I want to enjoy my food not hearing people argue.

  10. Yes, definitely.  Although I think bad service is more common than good service anymore.  I mean, not just at restaurants and not just at fast food places.  I'd almost rather get bad service at a fast food joint than going somewhere like the Olive Garden and paying 75 bucks for our family to eat there plus a tip and having substandard service.  That happens plenty often. And at the grocery store, Target, etc.  When I get good service I make a pretty big deal of it since it's so rare.  I think you need to give feedback to management whether it's good or bad.  That's the only way they can improve things.

  11. Employees serving food at any type of restaurant should not be handling any of their personal items.  I'm sure none of them sanitized their cell phones before starting work that day which means body oils, germs, etc were probably transferred to the food.  It's worse in a fast food atmosphere because the quicker the food should be delivered to the customer, the less time they have to wash their hands after touching their phones.  When is the last time you cleaned your cell phone?  I think businesses have let the "business" out of customer service.  When buying a product or service it is unprofessional for employees to have "personal" conversations with their co-workers.  It's a red flag to me when I see employees behaving this way because it shows me a lack of proper training and supervision.  So the question is if they are that unprofessional in front of you what are they doing when you aren't there?  That is scary.
