Restaurant Owners! What would you think of this?

Question

If you already had a piano in your restaurant, and a talented 16 year old male pianist of relaxing ballad jazz (if you own a quiet restaurant) or upbeat classy jazz (if its a "hopping" restaurant) offered to work cash $8/hr (cash) with permission to leave a tip glass out, and business cards would you hire to work 2 weekdays a week?

absolutely!  That's actually how most musicians do it anyways.

I would need to check the work requirements for hiring a 16 year old (laws for hours, etc.) to make sure that no employment laws are being broken.

If it's legal - hey, go for it!
