I would like to know the best or worst place you've eaten and why. If you are going to answer with "home" or a stupid answer... don't bother. Thanks ahead of time.

  1. BEST PLACE:  pizza Hut

    WORST PLACE:  pizza Hut

  2. Best place - the restaurant at the resort where I worked for quite a while. Gourmet food, top quality ingredients, top chefs.

Worst place - Wendy's. I just really don't like their food.

  3. Two bests:

Gardunos - great mexican however only a few locations in the west.

B.J.'s Brewery - they brew their own selections of beer.  Has a large selection of food on the menu and everything I've gotten from there has always been great.  Nice atmosphere and a good place to watch sports, but not a sports bar.

  4. My all time favorite place to eat is Mary's Pizza Shack. I base this on the price, food, service, and atmosphere.

  5. cheesecake factory is the best because they have huge portions, the atmosphere is nice, and the prices aren't too bad.  i've always had a pleasant time there and the food is awesome.

  6. Best place was a Moroccan place in Denver, CO.  It was EXPENSIVE.  Especially since we found it via an Entertainment Book coupon that turned out to be a "misprint."  But, it turned out to be well worth it.  We had a 5(?) course meal w/ some of the best tea I've ever tasted.  Somewhat romantic.  Very relaxing.  All around good.

Worst place.  Cheesecake Factory.  Took my girlfriend there for her birthday.  The food was so-so.  It was noisy.  It took forever.  I tipped like $5 on an $80 dollar meal, because it was so bad.  Extremely generous considering my girlfriend wanted me to leave a penny.

  7. The best place is pretty much any Brazilian steakhouse.  Not cheap but the food and service are always great.

The worst is any place that the pretty waitress are the main attraction.  The food is not that good and the service is usually bad.

  8. It's called the Seneca Harbor Station in Watkins Glen NY. They have a great atmosphere, they have excellent food, and there is never a bad time there. They also have a bar, which have excellent cocktails. But I've never had a bad meal there. It's soo good!

Worse place, hard to say. There's been a couple. But it's basically because of the waitress, not the actual place.

  9. Best Place=Mama Tina Cucina  (Italian) was quite good. It was homemade and not processed food. Excellent preperation and a knowledgeable and friendly server. Food tasted like it was fresh food and a taste medley never to be forgotten. Great atmosphere as well.  Spago is a close second for the Las Vegas location. Probably because I was on vacation as well as having pleasant company and a good decent waiter. The free range chicken was super. (Pre vegetarian)

Worst place to dine=anywhere where parents can't be bothered to discipline their children for running wild. I can understand if I am at McDonalds for children to be running around etc but at a sit down resturant there are no excuses! Alot of dining out is the ambiance of the place.

I think the Outback was the worst food experience I ever had before I was vegetarian because it tasted like they dumped the salt shaker all over my food and said here eat it you'll like it! WRONG. Expensive and nasty food experience all around there. Thank goodness we ate there on a gift certificate because I'd of been ticked to pay for it. They explained the baked potato was coated with salt and so it probably tasted like everything else was salty because of it. I wasn't mad but I was annoyed there wasn't more communication on that point since I specifically asked that when I read the menu.

See now you opened a can of worms lol. I was thinking I don't care for dessert at most places because the desserts all taste funky and dried out and processed. I don't normally eat sweets but it seems whenever I would like a dessert they aren't very good.

I'd have to agree with the previous poster about Cheesecake Factory. JUST PLAIN AWFUL. Just because you give huge portions doesn't mean its good food. I can't ever have anything beyond a sandwich there but I usually make my own for better taste and cheaper as well.
