  1. Subway Manager is about 8.00/hr

  2. fyi, red lobster and olive garden are not big name restaurants. they are low-mid quality chains that appeal to lowest common denominator.

the real money in the restaurant biz lies in fine dining, but you'll have to work for it. 50-70 hour/week.

the restaurant biz is tough. to succeed you have to work hard hard hard.

A well reviewed restaurant in a major restaurant city (NYC, SF, Chicago, New Orleans) probably pays their managers anywhere from 65K and up. bonuses, bennies, incentives too.

  3. Most  of those types of restaurant managers get a base salary and then big bonuses.  I would say on average between 60000 to 85000 depending on the restaurant.

My proprietor at Outback made close to 100000 with her bonuses.

  4. Salary for this type of restaurant is around $40,000. Most chain restaurant GM's make have performance-based bonus systems in place in order to keep their GM's motivated

  5. It depends on where it is located, what type of manager and how much experience. A manager for a Darden restaurant can make anywhere from 32,000 to 100,000 before bonus. Bonus can range from $200 a month to $2000 a month.
