Restaurant - not far from Mississauga , dwntn TO and Markham?

Question

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good restaurants for a late 20's to mid 30's birthday party? Fun atmosphere (no dancing preferably) and good food for reasonable price. I have people coming from Mississauga, TO and Markham, so something central. What does everyone think of Rain Forest Cafe? Too young or ok? And what are opinions on Genghis Khan Mongolian Grill?

I may be too late for you in this response but have you tried 50 West, across from Square One. It is a Beer Tap / Grill location. Food good and is reasonable, the selection of Beers is Huge! There are a wide variety of types from sweeter Fruit beers / Lambics etc to Stouts, Ales etc. They have sample platters that are really quite reasonable. Its quiet enough so you can talk but hip enough that a 20 - 30 crowd would enjoy.

I've never been to Rainforest Cafe.  However, I've been to the Mongolian Grill in Markham 3 times.  It was a fun novelty thing.  The food is ok.  I found it repetitive, meat, noodles, veggies saucec, cook and repeat.  Mind you there are quite a few sauces and condiments and they are tasty.  They have a little buffet also but that was unimpressive.

Don't go to Rainforest Cafe, it is way too loud for a party. It's really annoying actually.

Go to Alice Fazooli's on Adelaide, perfect for that age range and great atmosphere, food, service. If you don't want to go downtown, there is other locations around GTA including MArkham and Mississauga.

I love the Rainforest Cafe and I'm 40!!!. Or, LoneStar Cafe on Front Street: fantastic food!!!! Just a few doors down, try the Loose Moose...great spicy Caesar Salad...

Wayne gretzky's, Sultans Tent, Ultra Supper Club, Fred's Not Here. all good choices.  All in the downtown core.
