I need some really good ideas on where to take a party of 6 for dinner in London, UK next Saturday. Need something a little different, not too expensive and not a la carte (as we do not want to be getting drunk on near empty stomachs).

  9. mcdonalds in canning town i work there no erm leyton high road balti night depends on what you looking for.

  10. Savoy Grill

  11. Of course it depends what sort of fod you all really like but i've always found Turkish food really good for larger groups as thres a wide range of starters, main courses and desserts catering for vegetarians as well. Drink is also really varied and high quality.

My favourite in London is Cafe Gallipoli on Upper St Islington N1

The atmosphere is authentic and great fun - cheerful (been there 3 times when someone there was celebrating)

Cafe Gallipoli, Cafe Gallipoli again, and Gallipoli bazzare (all on Upper Street) are jointly run so reservations at any will do.

If you cant make it away from central London you may want to try Sofra on Tavistock Street, Covent Gerden.

    Have a nice meal!

  12. McDonalds, so stylish

  13. get on the DLR and get off at West India Quay (near Canary Wharf) they have a large variety of really nice pubs and eating places.... tapas, pizzas... you name it ! the place is fantastic

and in the sun you can eat outside :)

  14. If you like Thai food you can't beat Busaba Eathai. The one in Soho is fantastic. You might have to queue for a bit, but it's worth it!
