to the people below... I think he was talking about an actual theme... and buy they way all those idea's are so typical nothing new and has already been done. I think person above was talking about a theme like Mars 2112 in Time Square, or Jackle and Hyde... etc

P.S. Maybe this will help; I have many great ideas for themed restuarants. What might help you find your idea is relax breathe do some daydreaming. Think about what you love. What is your idea of an escape. What type of dishes you wish you'd see more of?

the theme could be "for those down south" and consist of lots of fried chicken, watermelon, and 'grape drink'

Well, seafood has always been popular....or maybe a vegetarian menu? There are also foods from different places and times, and those would work well too. It's up to you, really, these are just some ideas.
