  1. Joy King Lau in Chinatown, Leicester Square. You can look at the menu and prices outside the restaurant.

  2. Go to Wagamama's lovely restaurant and its cheap and the staff are very friendly

  3. for a nice restaurant around picadilly is Caffe Concerto..

it is 2 mins from picadilly tube station and up regent street..

they have very nice food with affordable prices especially for groups, and plz dont forget if u went there to taste their excellent delicious cakes,,, my favourite is chocolate and vanilla mousse..

anyway if you went there sit at the beanc seats near the mirror. i always sit there..

anyway if u didnt eat there, at least taste their marelous cakes..

    visit the website: www.caffeconcerto.co.uk

    and please enjoy

  4. PIZZA HUT

  5. There's a great Thai place at the bottom of Haymarket called Thai square, very reasonable for a great meal.

  6. NONONONO not roadhouse - seriously - plus it's a bit of a walk from Piccadilly. It's loud, touristy, expensive and the food is not very good.

I had a look at the offers on Toptable and have come up with the following cheap options. (some may not be relevant as you didn't say when you were going)

And there's also all the standard things around there - pizza hut, spaghetti house, thai square.

You are also quite close to china town - try Wong Kei for very cheap or Gerrard Corner for a bit nicer. (or laughing buddha if you can get a table)

Benehana (suggested above) is good but pretty expensive - they are however doing an offer at the moment

It sounds better than it is but the 7 courses are

    1. Soup

    2. Rice

    3. Vegetables

    4. Little sushi thingies x3

    5. & 6. Your choice of 2 meats

    7. Sorry didn't spot it :-)  Edit:Actually i remember we had a salad now

i was absolutely stuffed at the end though. See if you can get a chef called Tom when you book.

  7. Definately check out the Wolseley at 160 Picadilly...I just typed you out a glowing review and lost it while I checked for the address on Google...but you absolutely will not regret it (IF you can get a table)  I've been to lunch there a couple of times, (dunno whether it's much different in the Evening) but considering the WOW factor of the room, it's capacity, it's buzz, the quality of the food & service, and the smart but informal nature of the place, I reckon it would be perfect for you and the gang even if it will cost perhaps 20% more than one of the boring / obvious chains or dubious tourist joints.  Enjoy!

  8. You should go to the Roadhouse restaurant and bar in Covernt Garden

    www.roadhouse.co.uk

It is known for taking larger groups and especially girls for hens nights.

They have live bands some nights of the week who are excellent.

Look on their website and they have 2 for 1 deals on at the moment which will make it extra affordable.

I have had birthday party evenings there a few times and all the people attending loved it. Also been there with a few girls/guys just for a bite to eat and the great music.

    Promise you will love it.

  9. yes, there are lots of restaurants according to distance and other specification you can search at http://www.lacartes.com/

  10. If you like steak, the Gaucho Grill is superb and does great cocktails too. Here is a link to the website:

  11. I like Wagamama's which is just of Leicester Sq.  Its a great noodle bar and reasonable, then you could head off to Tiger Tiger in Haymarket (get there early enough it's happy hour on cocktails), and they are all close to each other

  12. I do like this Japanese grill - the chefs grill the meats you pick on a hotplate in front of you and sometimes can be quite charismatic and involve the guests too. Fab atmosphere and it's just off Picadilly on Sackville Street

    Check out its website here
