  1. Look into Chez Catherine / Aux Deux Canards.

Not well known, but traditional French.  Specializes in house made orange liqueur that they use for their Duck a L'orange.  There is a website with pictures of the interior, the owner, Gerard Faesch, and of the dishes that are very french, including roasted marrow bones.

The first link is their website all in French - up at the top left is a video - Presentation de Gerard - the owner explains the how the oranges are made into a sweet "orange honey liqueur" as he does for all diners.  The second link has good still photos of many of the dishes.

    Bon Appetit

  2. Well, since money is no object, just search restaurants, paris, and I think you'll find some lists.

Les Deux Magots (the two maggots)  Really famous.

There used to be a Bar Quasimodo near the cathedral.

Let me see what I can find.

  3. chez Fred great restaurant.

  4. My personal favorite restaurant is La Methode at 2 rues Descartes in the 5th arrondissement.
