Restaurants rent out of wedding reception?

Im having a very hard time trying to decide where to have my wedding reception at and i was just wondering if anyone knew if restaurants will let you rent out the entire place for a reception? or does anyone know any great reception places

Most will let you rent it out compleatly if they have a ususal day they are closed.  others ahve private areas they can block off for your wedding.  Call local places you like and ask!

Don't forget to check out golf club houses!  Some of them offer deals and a beautiful background.

We live in Las Vegas.  When our daughter got married here last year (on 7-7-7) we found it difficult to get a reception hall so we called around to restaurants.  Most will rent the entire restaurant or have private dining rooms for wedding receptions.  We had her reception at Mortons Steakhouse. We had a private room for 75 people.  You can get bigger or smaller.  Look at their website.  http://www.Mortons.com

They have a banquet menu (as most othrestaurantsnts do) You may have to call a bakery for your wedding cake though.

Yeah - that is exactly what we did.  There was a small front room that they still kept for their other customers (because we didn't have enough guests to fill the whole restaurant) but we basically got the whole thing to ourselves.  It actually worked out a lot cheaper than renting a hall and then having to get catering in as well.  The service and food was great too so I definately recommend that if you guys have a favourite restaurant then go and see what they offer.  Restaurants are only interested in making as much money as they would if there were no wedding happening - so as long as you can offer that or more then they should be happy.

A lot of places will let you have wedding receptions in their restaurant.  They won't rent out the entire restaurant because they would lose a lot of business but they usually have a room to rent out.
