Restaurants that give birthday meals for free?

Which restaurants give birthday meals for free and don't charge hidden fees on your bill? I live in South Florida.

I don't know too many restaurants that give free meals, most of them just give free dessert.

There aren't many that will do that nowadays.  For one thing, there's the matter of having to prove it's your birthday, with a driver's license or whatever.  It's kind of embarrassing, I think, to go to a restaurant and ask for something for free because it's your birthday, and, yes, that includes asking for free dessert.  

I wouldn't want to get a reputation of being a freeloader just because I have to announce to the world that I graced it with my newborn presence so many years ago.

I'm quite sure that if you sign up at Firehouse Subs, they'll give you a free sandwich on your birthday! You can sign up online, and they'll send you a coupon in the month that your birthday occurs.
