  1. There aren't really good restaurants in the Theater district. I'll tell you why:

The "clientele" is supposed to go A) Before Theater starts-which means, "serve them fast, they gotta go" and B) After Theater finishes - "serve them fast, so we can go home". Does this "ring a bell" ? Restaurants in that area, work mostly with "tourists" and the "food quality" can't be good and expensive for the restaurateur. I hope, I was of "some sort of help".

  2. the peaking duck..somewhere in chinatown

  3. honestly Carmine's in the theatre district is a little better...It is also family style too....I'm sicilian, so take my word for it....lol..

  4. tony's dinapoli is very good.  it is similar to carmine's, in that they serve tradional italian food in family size portions.

  5. Try going to citysearch. It has lots of great info
