I'm a former swimmer but this summer I've been doing a lot dryland stuff (weights, running) to get ready for an Army physical test that I'll need to take for ROTC in college. I workout every day and i occasionally hit tired spots where its a lot harder for me to get the reps or the time that i want. My question is, how much time should i take to rest before i take the test to ensure that I'm as fresh as possible? And for swimming we always had pasta dinners before, would that be a good way to eat the day before or something?? Thanks
