I've just re-installed Vista Home Premium on my PC but have never noticed the vast storage space that Windows restore points holds. 3 days aftter re-installation i alrady have 50GB dedicated to restore points, i understand that the restore points create themselves after updates, new system settings,installations/un-installations etc. but is there anyway to delete some of these points to free up disc space without compromising my system restore? ( I have deleted restore points via. TuneUp Utilities 2008 before and system restore doesn't want to know!)
I have large hard drive space but i dont want it to be cluttered up by obsolete setting files/system restore points etc.
Thanks for any sensible answers
Stu
