Is this a gelcoat chalking condition or a repaint question.

I don't recommend the wipe-on/brush on coatings like Vertglass.

Nothing beats an afternoon of wet sanding with 2000 grit paper then mechanical compounding with good 3M light compound, then  mechanical waxing with high quality wax...it will shine like a mirror.

Anything else is just a compromise...2 days and you'll have the shiniest boat on the dock.

and yeah...the Arpege did have some crappy colours!
