Restoring computer to original state.. ?

ive done this before -

i want t restore it so its like

when you first get it.

no programs of my own on,

and none of my files. like that, yeah?

last time i pressed an F key.

i didnt use a cd.

rebooted it, easy.

but ive forgotten how to,

so, help pls? (: x

  1. reboot and keep pressing f11 see if this works if not then just try all the f buttons


  2. it depends on your system. do you use windows?

    it's called restore factory settings.  do you have the CD?  usually you'd only do that if you have a blue screen.  or else maybe if you are going to sell your computer or something.

  3. Young lady, oh man I just woke up it's 5:11 AM. Try F11 as the fireman there suggested and if that doesn't work it should be F8. F2 usually takes you into the bios, and I don't think that is what you want. In the future, make restore points if you run XP or Vista <puke>. I hate Vista I took it off of all my machines.

    I'd have to boot up my laptop to look at the selections, there should be like, at least 8 of them.

    EDIT: Okay I read your OS, in the future make restore points from the help center often, and you won't have to go through all of this.
