Question:

Restoring itunes music? Ipod?

My system recently had to be reimaged. All my files, including my music, were backed up but I had to redownload itunes. It looks like some of my music that was previously on itunes (currently saved in a file on desktop) is gone. However, all my old music is still on my ipod. If I plug my ipod in, will the music on the ipod load into itunes, OR will the fact that there's no music in itunes currently wipe all the music off my ipod? Is there any other solution other than importing what I do still have saved and redownloading everything else?

  1. Yes, if you plug your iPod in, it will begin to wipe off all the songs, but it us easy to stop.

That website has fairly good instruction on how to get the songs off your iPod and into iTunes. Another user said that she didn't do it exactly, but also didn't tell me what she did differently. But It's fairly easy to figure out, so no worries.

    Good Luck

    Hope it helps :D
