  1. You might not have recovery disc, it might me on a hidden partition on your hard drive.  What make is it and I might be able to help?

  2. You need to use your recovery discs

  3. Use the system restore program that is on your XP operating system.

Use the search to find it and restore it to the earliest checkpoint there is.

  4. You could run a system restore, which restores your factory setting to a date specified by you. Secondly, if you have your O/S installation disks, you could restore your O/S to its original state.

    System Restore:

START > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore (After selecting a date to restore your machine to, you will need to restart your PC)

    Restore of O/S:

Insert your installation disk in your disk drive, as you machine is "booting" up, keep hitting the 'F8" key. You should then select the "Boot from CD" option. Then follow the instructions to REPAIR your O/S. (Restore)

  5. you need manufact cd s

  6. do sysytem restore. Hit ur start button then go to control panel and u should see sytem restore and just click on that.

  7. there should be a system recovery point after clean install, click Backup under All Programs > Accessories > System Tools.

  8. usually, they come with a single CD or series of CDs that returns it to factory settings, but is its a Post-Vista XP, i think you can do it without the disk. it should say on startup what button it is for syster settings/restore.
