Restoring programs after os reinstall?

Hi,

I need to do a os reinstall and was wondering if there is a program that will back my data and programs and after reinstall I can restore them as it was ?

The best thing to do is to get a USB flash disk . Put all the data and programs that you want to the USB flash disk before you reinstall your OS.

After reinstalling, insert the USB flash disk and put back your data and programs !

You cant restore the programs. You can reinstall them. But the files you saved can be recovered by EasyRecovery DataRecovery.

you can save your documents to disk, but just restoring all or your data and programs, as they were kinda defeats the pourpose of reinstalling the OS

There are programs which you have to pay for but, instead of paying for a program why not buy an External Hard Drive like IOMEGA which is excellent and comes with retrospect to backup all or just parts of your computer.

Then you can format your hard drive and install it properly your new OS.

Then reinstall off your external hard drive all your old programs.

After it is installed your external hard drive is still used backing your computer or just programs.
