Restuarant for 3 generations, Nottingham, Xmas?

Hi

I'm looking for a restaurant in Nottingham to take my 80yr old mum for a combined Xmas/Birthday lunch on Dec 26th. I'd also have two kids (13 and 10) in tow!

Somewhere nice and non-pub-grub, but not overtly expensive or trendy.

Assuming that you want english food, we have a new restaurant here in Nottingham called "Ma Hubbard's".  It's in Snienton near the windmill.   English food, good quality and not expensive.   Slightly more upmarket is the Royal Hotel.   It has several restaurants.    Failing that, try a google search .....  that should give you some more suggestions.    Good luck and enjoy the meal.    ps ..  i do accept doggy bags  lol.
