  2. Greetings from the other side of the 'pond'! Nice to see you around again and enjoy the meal:)

  3. Shozna Indian restaurant, 18 High Street, Strood

Cosmo (Chinese) 94-96 High Street, Chatham

The Gardeners Arms, 2 Forge Lane, Higham (English food)

I live in Medway. Most of the eating places on the High Street in Rochester are advised (especially Mr Topes). DIANA B - I don't agree with your comment about COSMOS food being mediocre. Its a matter of taste and really cheap. Also Simply Italian service is really (I mean really slow). At least with Cosmos you eat as soon as you order.

  4. Without wanting to cause any offence to Sue I'd definitely avoid Cosmo's. It's way too noisy and the food is mediocre.

Topes in Rochester High street is a good one. Or simply Italian on the other side of the road.

  5. PLENTY in Chatham high street.

  6. If you want somewhere nice to treat your parents, book yourself into the restaurant in the Bridgewood Manor Hotel - that'll be a treat for them.

Every where else I've eaten in Medway is pretty samey.  I've never found anywhere for a special occasion.
