Restuarants that serve large portions?

my best friends 21st birthday is coming out and i want to take her and a couple of others out for a meal. my friend loves food and cant get enough of it. i dont wanna take her to an every day one like nandos as 21st is meant to be special.could anyone suggest a restuarant in london that serves large food portions is a bit classy and doesnt break the bank?

Theres a Brazilian buffet in Putney where they keep bringing you food and you choose when you have had neough ie tonnes of dishes they bring to the table and ask if you want a slice of steak, or chicken etc. its good but can't remember the name. . .

Tgi Fridays, thers one in Kingston. =] and they have a bar in there to and have a really lively atmosphere :) thers always birthdays in there. =]x
