  1. I went to this small place called PIZZA PAZZA..... the owner might be Italian cause the pizzas they make here are not commercial or american-style like Domino's or Pizza Hut's, but are very tasty and typically made instead, like traditional genuine Italian pizzas. They have simple but great combinations of 2-3 ingredients as the original Italian pizzas do, thin (but soft) crust and are square-shaped, not round. The prices are very decent too.

My favorites: Panna & funghi (mushrooms & cream) and Spinaci & gorgonzola (spinach & cheese); people were asking A LOT for the "3-cheese pizza" too.

Address: Calle 12 (between Ave. 5 and Ave. 10)

Directions: The one I know is almost at the end of the central 5th Ave., on a little street to the left, but they have other 2 stores at: Ave. Juarez and Ave. 10

  2. Italian and Spanish resturants. Get to your homework.

  3. Check out tripadvisor.com, Playa Del Carmen, go to overview and then check out dining scene. I have been to Playa a few times. All of the restaurants on 5Th are fairly pricey, between $40 and $60 per couple. Typical Mexican food, La Parilla, Karen's are both pretty good. Yucatan style food Yaxche is good. El Oasis has great tempura fried shrimp tacos and the best Mojito drink ever. Babes is unusual, but they have really good food, I believe there are two in town. El Fogon across from the Wal-mart in town is very good and cheap its where the locals eat, just ask a taxi to take you. The whole town is very safe so don't worry about venturing out off of 5Th. There is another place that the locals eat at, its called super carne, arrachera (marinated steak) is what everyone eats there. It's good but remember all of the restaurants in Mexico are outdoors. The locals don't eat on 5Th too often, the restaurants off of 10Th thru 30Th are much cheaper.

On 5Th I've eaten at Aqua, it's good but pricey. Ajua is very good as well. Check out the list on trip advisor and there are other restaurant reviews on the web as well.

  4. well what about them? need dinner info ?
