I am applying for a server position in a charlie palmer fine dining restaurant. Currently I am working as a massage therapist at a local, prestegious extremely high end golf club/spa.

On my resume for the restaurant should I include my current position at the high end massage job (hoping the name of the place will 'impress' them) or leave it out because it is not restaurant related?

  1. You should include this. It doesn't matter what experience you have, you must include jobs that you have had. I have interviewed many different people and I would rather someone put down what they have done rather than lie to me by omitting something.

  2. You should include any previous working experience. The name won't impress them, but include duties that you were involved in there, that will contribute to your new place of work.So yes absolutely include it!

  3. definitely include it. It let's your interviewer know that another employer has found you suitable enough to hire, that you have experience working with the public, and understand the importance of good customer service. They will want to know if/why you're leaving current employment at the spa. A reference from someone at the spa (preferably your supervisor) will make you look even better to a potential new employer. good luck.

  4. let your luck do what is for u only comtinue ur sincere work and what next will happen will be ur luck

    hope it helped

  5. Include everything you've done.  Emphasize the things you've done on that job that would relate to the job you want.
