Resume Writing, help.. suggestion

If you are applying for a Human Resources position and want to market your transferrable skills in managing a small restaurant, being a Mom and a singer/performer/musician - how would you write your resume?

Ofcourse, first write all ur personal details and then ur hobbies, and showcase how passionate u are about wat u do and want to do. how u balance all ur roles as a mom, singer, performer the time u take out to do wat u do will ultimately show that ur good at managing things so elaborate briefly on ur qualities in a confident manner. Don't over do coz u shud definately leave something to talk about when u go for the interview.

This difficult to answer without knowing the exact type of position that you are after.  However a few things that are always helpful and classified as transferable skills are:

1. Time Management (Evident in all your activities mentioned)

2. People Management (Being a mum you must manage children well)

3. Assertiveness (From being a performer and mum)

4. Confident (Performing)

5. Staff Management (From Managing a restaurant)

6. Disciplined (Otherwise you couldn't manage being everything you are

         I think the first thing you should do is to make a rough draft do not worry about being neat, (yet) the best thing to start with is of course, your name, address and personal info.    then education, past work exper., references,  hobbies and work related exper. , and then add anything you think would give you a better chance. the more info. you include the better your chances .   tell about your time as a singer or performer, include any awards or cotracts that you've been given.  oh ,... and always remember, dont give anyprivate info. like ss# etc.
