8.5% for 3 years and 9 % for 5 years ...

Just 4 questions:

are these good rates?

are these interests applied quarterly or annually? (9% of 100 every month or 9% of 100 in a year?)

should I go for the 3 years or the 5 years?

I can resell them right?

Thanks

  1. Generally interest rates are quoted for an annual period, however, no Treasury bonds are paying the kind of interest you're talking about.  The highest Treasury rate (and at 30 years, the longest maturity) is now about 4.5% annually.  You're either confused or it's a scam.

Without knowing which country and the other specifics no one can answer your question.
