Retainer after braces???

okay i don't have my braces yet i have 5 days but can you choose between a clear retainer or a silver?? What r sum pros and cons between them??? i really want the silver 1!!!!!

idk i have a clear they give you an option is it one that fits the roof or rite ovr ur teeth ive had both !

i have the clear kind

pros:

people don't notice it

cons:

you lose it easier

(because it's clear)

you can see inside of it if you something in your teeth

its reallyyy tight on your teeth
