Retake SAT?

I am going to be a senior in high school next year. I am happy with my grades (4.5 GPA 10-12) and test scores, but I don't think my extracurriculars are enough to get me into an elite school. All I have is IB Program, CSF, NHS, 4 years Track and 2 years basketball. I think if I got an amazing score on my SAT, I would be OK. Right now I'm sitting on a 2180 (800 Math, 730 Writing, 650 Critical Reading). If I worked hard, I really think I could get up to a 2250 or higher. I've taken it twice, and I actually deproved the second time. But I know I can improve. I have three months of summer + September to study. Should I do it, considering both previous times I took the test I only studided for three weeks max prior to the test?

  1. It depends on which school you are trying to get into. I think you're fine for a state university. Just apply very early like in two months.
