im going to be a senior in high school and i took the SAT and subject tests:

SAT - 1790

literature - 480 (i didnt study at all)

chem - 650

math 2 - 610

i want to apply to berkeley, UCLA, UC san diego, binghamton and stony brook. i think that im gonna take SAT chem again in the fall cuz i want to major in chem in college but i dont know if i should retake literature again. (i know these scores are VERY bad for UC's) should i? will not takign the test again hinder my chances even more for acceptance into UC's? i live in new york, so its def harder for me. what should i do?

did u get accepted into UC's with okay SATs/subject tests?

  1. holy ****,

you terrible grades almost gave me a heart attack

    what the h**l happened?

  2. Why wouldn't you retake them?

I don't think you need 3 subject tests for the UCs (although I may be wrong), so just send in chem and math 2 after you study and retake them. 600+ is still decent, so don't be discouraged, but I'd definitely retake them again, for the reasons you said.

Retake your SAT Reasoning Test too (a higher priority than the Subject Tests, it seems to me).

    Good luck!

  3. I'm in college with bad SAT scores (around 1320?). But since you want to try getting into UC schools I suggest you take the SAT to get a better score so you can get a higher chance of acceptance. Just study this time, hah :p
