Retake a Regents?

Does it cost mony to retake a regents over the summer or is is free? How much if so.

It's free to take it over and you should contact your guidance counselor. You can retake it in August.  

My school is really small so when my friend had to take hers over she had to go another school and had to fill out a lot of paperwork in order to be able to take it at that school. So that might be the only problem you encounter...

A few years ago (when I was in high school), I felt like I could do better on my math regents.  I took it in January and got an okay score.  After I received my score, I went to my guidance counselor and asked if I could take the regents again.  She was lecturing me at first saying that I did really well and such, but I continued to persist that I wanted to take it over.  Finally she said I could and I could take it in June, and it was free.

I did a lot better, but I really had to beg to take it since my score was good.  So I would imagine that you might have a hard time taking it again.  The best thing to do is to ask your guidance counselor.
