in restaurants i have found some weird stuff in my food and i can believe people avoid restraints just because of the rumors they here im thinking why doesn't restaurants hire a full time health inspector to watch over the employees and makes sure the kitchen's up to standards i bet if a community heard of this they could boost sales by a lot and wouldn't have such a bad image just my opinion tell me what you think of it

  1. wow, where do you eat?

In 10 years of working in restaurants the worst thing I've ever seen is a hair occassionally falling into someones food, or a bit of plastic that has broken off a storage container.

  2. I agree with you, but it's pretty unrealistic. Everyone's out to make a buck and by hiring a health inspector (and paying for upkeep) they'd most likely be losing money.  I figure if it's not shut down, it's good...and I just try not to think about it.  Ignorance is bliss my friend.

  3. If I were you I wouldn't dine out. I work in a 5 star restaurant, and I'm very particular about who prepares my food. You have to think about it, it's not machines preparing the food. It's everyday people just like you and I. I've seen a lot of things behind the scenes. Inspectors are a joke also. They just come in and throw their authority around and don't report half the violations they need to.
