Question:

For about 1 month now I've seen a black/clear kind of huge spot in my right, when I look really hard to the left or right. NO, its not a floater, I know what a floater is, this isn't one, I make it appear if I turn my eyes enough. It looks bigger if I turn more. I thought it'd go away but it never did. I looked only and I saw things about a retinal tear. I don't feel pain (like the symptom), there's a black thing like I described, sometimes its clearish, its just weird. Anyone know what this could be?

  1. May I suggest that you make an appointment to see an Optometrist soon? The eyes are so very precious and there should be no guessing as to what the problem might be. Go to the expert so you will know and it will put your mind at ease. Also, see the Optometrist annually and you will be ahead of the game.

The answer you are looking for should come from the doctor after he/she does a thorough eye examination. I wish you well.

I recently received a post card from my doctor reminding me that it's time for my annual eye exam. I have already made an appointment.
