Retrieving netgear wireless router password?

how can i retrieve my netgear wireless router password? i knew my password but when i type it in it doesnt recognise it, how can i see change my password or retrieve it please

the passwords are case sensitive so check your Capitalisation

michaelr is almost right, the defaults are

username=admin

password=password

if pressing the reset pin by itself doesn't work, try doing the same but with the power off first press and hold the reset pin, then power on

I have a netgear, too...THe only thing to do is resetting your router pushing the button behind it for 20 seconds...then the password which is set is: password and the name is: admin...easy, isn't it?

Press the tiny reset button on the router for about 20 seconds then release, after wait for the router to load, this will set the default password which is 'admin' and just leave the user name blank
