  1. I don't know of any method that can extract all the photos from a movie all at once, but I've copied single images from dvds before. It's a bit tedious, since you have to do it one image at a time, but it's the only way I can think of:

Pause the movie, then press Shift + Print Screen (that button that's usually near the far right corner of your keyboard, sometimes called "Prt Scrn" or something like that). This copies the image of your entire desktop.

Then open any paint or imaging program and paste the image there (ctrl + V). Crop/cut out the parts that aren't part of the movie and save it.

If you have Vista, it's even easier. Vista comes with a program that allows you to copy an area of the screen and save it so you don't have to edit the pictures out later.

  2. Well since you already got them GREAT! I can help with getting them as a jpg though.

Open them up into paint or whatever program your using again. Then hit "save as" Below the space where you type the file name there should be a pull down that will have all the different ways to save it. There would should see jpg and just select that. That should work =)

  3. You could watch them on your computer and whenever you see a pic you want hit the PrtSc button and take a screen shot of the picture then copy it into paint and crop out anything that you dont want.
